My Story

Hi, I’m Masoum, aka Yogi Turtle. In this video series, I share how I’m taking slow and steady steps toward understanding and transforming my body and myself, guided by the mountains, nature, yoga, and mindfulness. I also explain how my journey through cancer treatment became the motivation for me to become a yoga instructor, the paths I’ve traveled, and how my story led to the name Yogi Turtle.

What Are My Yoga Classes Like?

My in-person and online classes are a blend of asanas, breathing exercises, and the popular Yoga Nidra, all carefully designed with a focus on body awareness. I’ve explained this in more detail in the video for you. Along with these classes, we also practice yoga together in nature whenever the opportunity arises.
